Southside’s past is filled with rich history and has recently been transformed into a modern and exciting neighborhood. Southside is home to Pittsburgh’s “Great American Main Street” — East Carson Street where great culture and nightlife combine! It's renowned for its 15 blocks of Victorian architecture, unique boutiques, art galleries, theaters, coffee shops and more. And there is no shortage of bars and restaurants, with plenty of options packed within each block! Nearby Southside Works is an open air retail, dining, and entertainment area situated right on the river. And, the Southside riverfront park and trail is a popular spot for walkers, runners, and cyclists. It even connects to the Great Allegheny Passage that goes all the way to Washington D.C.!  There is truly something for everyone right at your finger-tips!

Southside is only a few miles from downtown Pittsburgh making it an easy commute to many employers. Plus, public transportation is easily accessible and getting downtown or to other Pittsburgh neighborhoods is a breeze. But with live music performances, bar crawls, boating and more, you'll never want to leave!
